You must meet the requirements for being an Authorized Dealer. This includes purchasing an initial inventory of approximately eight to ten thousand which includes material and inventory such as controllers, lights, extensions, power kitswire and other items (note that this does not include track) associated with an initial installation and five to six average homes.


Dealer applicants must also complete one one So-Brite approved job at which point you will be authorized to sell and install to the public.

So-Brite does not require you to be an electrician in order to sell or install products other than our track light system.


We do however require that you or the installers of our track lighting systems be a certified electrician or have an electrician on staff for the installation.

No, our dealer program is open to all qualified applicants in the United States or Canada.


There are no exclusive territories in our dealer program.

Yes, So-Brite dealers must carry a minimum liability insurance of two million to cover any damages that may occur while installing our products.

Yes, our products carry an ETL certification that approves them to be installed in both Canada and the United States.

Yes, our dealers are listed and able to be found on a nationwide dealer map on our website. You will also have the opportunity to become eligible to receive leads and quote requests directly from the So-Brite website.

If a dealer has a defective product, a warranty replacement will be completed. Once we received and test the defective product, the dealer will be sent a new replacement. So-Brite provides end users with a manufacturer product warranty.
